The Land Rover Defender is a British four-wheel-drive off-road utility vehicle developed from the original Land Rover series launched in 1948. The model was introduced in 1983 as "Land Rover One Ten", and in 1984 the "Land Rover 90" was added - the numbers representing the respective wheelbases in inches.
In October 2013 Land Rover announced that production would end in December 2015 after a continuous run of 67 years. Production finally ended on 29 January 2016 when the last Defender rolled off the production line.
The perfect off road vehicle will be sadly missed by farmers and Land Rover enthusiasts alike.
